On May 7th, 2026, Whitley Recruiting Partners and Barfield Revenue Consulting brought together professionals from across the Triangle’s technology and software community for an evening centered around connection, collaboration, and growth. Hosted at the beautiful Borden Building inside Fred Fletcher Park in Raleigh, the Tech Social welcomed founders, sales leaders, recruiters, candidates, operators, and emerging professionals for a relaxed night of meaningful networking and community building.

With North Carolina barbecue (Thanks to Big Ed’s), wine courtesy of The Wine Feed, and a venue filled with some of the Triangle’s brightest professionals, the event reflected something both firms strongly believe in: great businesses are built through great people and strong relationships.

Bringing the Triangle Tech Community Together

The Triangle continues to establish itself as one of the country’s fastest-growing hubs for technology, software, and innovation. As more companies scale across the region, opportunities to genuinely connect outside of traditional meetings or conferences become increasingly valuable.

The goal of the Tech Social wasn’t simply networking for networking’s sake. It was about creating an environment where professionals could exchange ideas, strengthen relationships, discuss opportunities, and build connections that continue long after the event ends.

Throughout the evening, guests connected over conversations surrounding:

  • Growth within the Triangle tech market
  • Hiring challenges and GTM expansion
  • Career growth and leadership opportunities
  • Revenue strategy and scaling teams
  • Building stronger professional communities across Raleigh and the Southeast

It’s More Than Just Recruiting

As Whitley Recruiting Partners continues partnering with enterprise-focused technology companies across the Southeast, events like this create opportunities to strengthen the relationships that drive long-term growth throughout the market.

At Whitley Recruiting Partners, the focus has always extended beyond simply filling positions. The firm was built around helping companies scale intentionally with the right people, while also creating stronger connections within the industries and communities they serve.

Bringing professionals together in person reinforces the same philosophy that drives the company’s recruiting approach every day: relationships matter, culture matters, and people remain the foundation of every successful organization.

The turnout and engagement throughout the evening highlighted just how strong and connected the Triangle’s tech community continues to become heading into the second half of 2026.

Thank You to Everyone Who Joined Us

Thank you to everyone that attended and took time out of their afternoon to share their positive energy with the group. It means a lot when we see so many friends, clients, and candidates show up to our annual networking events. The people that showed up and the overall great vibes of the event are a reminder of why we love what we do at Whitley Recruiting Partners – see you next year!

– Lee Whitley, Owner & Recruiter

Whitley Recruiting Partners would like to thank everyone who attended the Tech Social and helped make the evening a success. From clients and candidates to friends and new connections, the event was a reflection of the people who continue to shape the future of technology in the Triangle.

We’re excited to continue building relationships, supporting growth-focused companies, and creating opportunities for meaningful connections within the tech community.

We look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
