Whitley Recruiting gathered for a team dinner at Tazza Kitchen in the Village to celebrate 2024, with an atmosphere filled with laughter, joy, and a sense of accomplishment. The team reflected on their successes for the year and shared stories of challenges overcome and goals achieved.
“We had a great year and enjoyed working and exploring other industries. Finding and helping NC-based, privately-held businesses grow their teams has been a fulfilling and exciting development for 2024,” said Sammy Hobgood, Principal Recruiter at Whitley Recruiting. Placements both locally and nationally spanned entry-level, mid-level, and leadership positions in software sales, helping businesses launch and grow their talent in a competitive field. Beyond software sales, we provided highly qualified candidates for commercial insurance, commercial lighting, furniture manufacturing, and HVAC construction.
We were happy to be able to toast and celebrate our teamwork, resilience, and the exciting future ahead. The evening was a perfect blend of gratitude and celebration, reinforcing the shared commitment to excellence and the joy of working together.
The team was also out and about in October as a hole sponsor of the 2024 Frankie Lemmon Golf Classic in October. This annual golf tournament raises funds for the Frankie Lemmon School & Developmental Center to help defray the cost of education and therapies for the children they serve.
“It’s a real treat to be able to take time away from work and enjoy a day in the outdoors,” said Lee Whitley, Founder. “And to have the privilege to sponsor and participate in Frankie Lemmon is a major accomplishment for us in our first year of operation. I’m looking forward to the fall Frankie Lemmon golf tournament for many years to come.”
