Who is TradePending?
TradePending has revolutionized the way automotive dealers and consumers connect by offering cutting-edge products designed to bridge the gap between the information that dealers have and the information consumers want. TradePending launched its first product, Trade, in 2014. The innovative software quickly gained traction within the industry, proving to be a game-changer for dealers looking to streamline their operations and improve efficiency. Over the next nine years, TradePending continued to push boundaries by introducing new tools and features. These advancements not only enhanced the original Trade platform but also provided dealerships with even more comprehensive solutions to meet their evolving needs in an ever-changing market landscape.
Challenge
As it happens with rapid growth, having a keen sales team across all channels is critical to supporting sustainable growth in any organization. TradePending had the challenge of finding the right candidates with the right experience and needed to work through the hiring process quickly and efficiently. Spending hours reviewing resumes, screening candidates, and managing interviews was incredibly time-consuming and not an effective use of time…but they needed to get people hired.
Results
In December 2023, Lee Whitley happened to connect with Brice Englert, CEO at TradePending, and discussed with Brice what his hiring needs were and to determine exactly what the right qualifications were. Since December, Lee has been able to help TradePending build an elite inside sales team in both Charleston, SC, and Raleigh, NC. He provided candidates who had experience selling to auto dealerships and they also had extensive experience selling within the same pricing structure.

Of the 16 hires made, Whitley recruited industry-specific automotive sellers in Raleigh, Charleston, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Kansas City, and Chicago, and hired inside sales Account Executives across central and western time zones.
